Work/Play, 2001
graphite on rag paper
Created using "The Artist's Mouse", three drawings on 32x32" pieces of rag paper, each piece represents approximately one month of all my activity on my home computer. This included, surfing the web, email, playing games, writing memos, papers for conferences, etc. The works are exist as a type of physical mapping of computer activity - translating computer time into physical abstraction using traditional art making materials.
