Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition. Created with the idea of reifying an office space environment, the project represents my first experiments with electromechanical, kinetic sculpture and installation. Originally the works were intended to be installed in an empty office space in one of the many non-distinct low rise tech/office buildings in downtown San Jose. The office space in question sadly became unavailable just prior to the completion of the works to complete my MFA. As such, the project was reconfigured for the gallery layout. I was interested in critically examining aspects of interactivity, workspace environments and what were the first days of considering so-called "virtual reality".
